Learn the Art of Drawing Following Simple Steps
Drawing is not anything which you would have to learn in the first place. It is as easy as learning to count or color into the pictures of your choice but sometime, people are not so good at it. It is difficult and daunting for several kids and even adults to draw properly but they should know that all it takes is a few simple techniques and practices and things would be in your hands. As an artist, several people earn money and it is not something which should be considered challenging either. For drawing you need motivation and interest and when that builds up, you would definitely be on your own of becoming a good drawer or painter.
First off, you have to start drawing on a plain sheet of paper with a normal 2B pencil because it gives off various shades and colors at the same time. You don’t have to work on bigger sheets and posters right away because starting from something little is going to make you perfect eventually.
Next, you should practice drawing basic shapes and forms free hand like circle, cylinder, squares and rectangles. Everything evolves from these basic shapes so if you practice successfully on these, you would be able to draw human shapes and various other art forms as well.
If you want to learn drawing and become good at it, keep a sketchbook with you at all times and make sure you are drawing something in your free time. It would not only make you good at drawing but also give you an inspiration and influence of doing things a certain way. You would be able to observe in a different manner and your outlook would change.
Once you have done it with the normal pencil, try different colors, pastels, crayons and shading pencils to get a hand of everything. Read through art magazines and books so you get an idea what you need to do and which direction you should be headed towards. Go though masters of drawing and painting and their techniques as the pioneers and take notes.
Determine what you want to draw and stick to it. If you are good at portraying landscapes, go for it. If you think you can do well with live persons and still motion sketches, practice more and more until you are refined and polished.
